My moving items were a mixture of personal things in 1room; my mover, Zackery made me feel relaxed once I saw how experienced he was and put thought into what had to be accomplished; he continued his professional knowledge right up to when the job was completed, and I enjoyed his kindness and humor as he “ went about his work moving an old lady out and moving me in to my new apartment”…I’m glad I met Zackery that day of “ moving out”. Very efficient at moving! But when they were done they told us we had to owe them $700 extra for our move.. which when we made our appointment we were told that they wouldn’t charge us at all

Cal State did an AMAZING job with my move. I had an interstate move from the Bay Area to Portland and everything was done very professionally and quickly. All of my items arrived and as far as I can tell not a single thing has been damaged. Miguel picked up all of my items in the Bay and packed them all very professionally and quickly. I paid for a shortened delivery window and I received my items way faster than I expected even with the additional cost. Juan delivered all of my items carefully and professionally and made sure all of my insured items were functional before leaving. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to my friends and family without a second thought. 5 stars!

Clovis Moving Services Are a Click Away
Every move is different. Whether it’s a home, office, or just a few items of heavy furniture, iMoving provides a whole menu of must-have services for moving in and out of Clovis:
Long Distance Moving
We'd say "Long distance moving can be a pain," but we have enough years of experience to know it for a fact. If you're going over 100 miles or across state lines - even if the state line's a mile away - you'll need professional help. Fortunately, iMoving is your one-stop shop for long distance moving companies.
When you shop for long distance movers in Clovis, you don't want to settle for some sketchy guys with an even sketchier truck. That's why we carefully verify every moving company before we let them join our network. We also pose as customers and call in to make sure they're staying honest.
Local Moving
You may not be moving very far, but a local move in Clovis still deserves plenty of attention from the best movers in the business.
iMoving keeps close tabs on all our local moving companies. If they operate in Clovis and they want to get into our network, we make sure they've got the safety records and customer feedback to back them up. We also make sure they aren't price gouging on those hourly rates, either.
Packing Services
As it turns out, packing is the hardest part of the job. Not only will you spend tons of time (and gas) going back and forth to Home Depot for more boxes, but you'll also get mixed up about what's going in what box. And guess what box that much-needed charger or toothbrush is in? The last one you open.
Save yourself the trouble, and book packing services in Clovis with iMoving. We'll make sure your boxes are wrapped, padded, and taped up tight, and we'll do it in record time so you can get unpacked and resituated ASAP.
Storage Services
Whether you have too much stuff or too little time, iMoving can help you put a roof over all your extra items. When you shop for movers, you can also shop for the best storage in Clovis, too. And those storage providers will maintain on-site staff to keep everything as safe as possible.
Storage is a great way to lend some much-needed flexibility to the big day. You can unload and unpack all the big ticket items, and pull the rest of your stuff out of storage when the time's right. And with our affordable rates, you can keep items locked away for however long you need.
Commercial Moving
Finding commercial movers in Clovi can be quite the challenge, especially if you need some extra TLC on the big day. From server racks to stacks of inventory, iMoving can connect you with the best corporate movers for the job.
When you use iMoving to shop for commercial movers, we make sure to leave all the options on the table. This way, you get a move that's custom-tailored to your business, whether you're a brick-and-mortar store or soon-to-go-global tech company.

FAQ
Movers need to have an official Department of Transportation (DOT) number, which you should be able to find on their website.
If a moving company handles long distance moves that cross state lines, they'll also need a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) number.
Don't forget to check reviews and look for any insurance info they may feature on their website.
It's always a good idea to get insurance, and in the interest of being responsible, we're not going to tell you to skip it.
However, if you're feeling risky and you're only moving a couple blocks (without anything fragile thrown in the mix), you may be able to get away with the basic coverage offered by your movers.
Before we even let a mover into our marketplace, we look over megabytes of authentic customer reviews. We also check out their services, their certifications, and their insurance.
To keep the movers in our network honest, iMoving will sometimes have secret shoppers call in, pose as customers, and ask plenty of questions to make sure our carriers are staying legit.
We recommend tipping between 15% and 20% of the total cost of the move, to be divided up between your entire moving team.
Don't forget the driver, either! In the moving industry, tipping is usually accepted and expected. While there are some rare companies that don't accept a gratuity, it's a good idea to have your wallet at the ready just in case.
A Clovis move can cost you anywhere from $195 to $7900 and beyond. It all comes down to how much you’re moving, and how far you’re traveling.
Keep in mind, local movers charge per mover, per hour (with about 2 movers per room), and long distance movers charge by weight (or volume) and miles.
