Picked up on time. Great packing of items. Extra items added were reasonably priced. Delivery went smoothly. Only one item had some minor damage. I would recommend this company.

Long Distance Moving
It can be tough to find the best long distance moving companies in Lancaster. That's why iMoving gives you a whole list of your best options. We also made it easier than ever to book an interstate move: Just tell us where you're headed and what you're taking with you, and choose from a curated list that's tailored to your needs.
Want to make sure you're dealing with the best of the best? We've got you covered. Our research team checks each mover's safety records, service histories and customer feedback - and we call in and pose as customers to keep 'em honest.
Local Moving
Local moves are charged per hour, per mover - and most jobs require about two movers per bedroom. To make sure you're getting a fair deal and a team that'll show up on time, use iMoving to get the best of the best.
At iMoving, we make it easier than ever to shop for quotes and book the best local moving company in Lancaster. Our research department combs through customer feedback and service history to make sure your team will get the job done with minimal fuss, and we'll even check in to make sure they're still meeting our standards.
Packing Services
Booking packing in Lancaster isn't just about getting some professional help for your boxes and bubble wrap. It's also about scoring some sweet insurance coverage.
In the moving industry, movers provide basic coverage for free. But that's just good for $0.60 per pound. If you want full value coverage, you'll have to pay extra for it - and movers won't even offer it unless you're paying them for packing, too. Sure, accidents are rare, but the peace of mind is priceless (not to mention the convenience of having professionals handling the hardest part of the job)!
Storage Services
Storage isn't just for moving day. In fact, plenty of customers use long-term storage to keep their seasonal decor out of the way until it's time to redecorate. And others may need a temporary spot for furniture or other items they're trying to sell.
Whether you've got Christmas ornaments, a sofa that's priced to move, or a lot of extra boxes from the big move, you can book storage in Lancaster with iMoving. And as an added bonus, the storage providers in our network can organize direct-to-door delivery so you don't have to make any trips to a storage unit.
Commercial Moving
Every move is different, and so is every business. That's why iMoving makes it easy to book a completely custom commercial move, provided by the best commercial movers in Lancaster.

FAQ
When you move to a more built-up or urban area, chances are they won't let you park an entire semi truck in front of your apartment. Your movers will have to park the main truck at a staging area, and use a smaller box truck or van to transport your stuff to (and from) the trailer. This is called a moving shuttle, and the inconvenience comes at a price. Blame your city council.
If a moving company is expecting you to pay for your entire move up front, run. This is a common tactic for sketchy movers, and if you pay up front, there's no guarantee they'll even deliver your stuff. On the other hand, paying a down payment before the big day is relatively common. Expect to pay a few hundred bucks, or 5-10% of the price of your move. Also, use iMoving to make sure you aren't dealing with scammers.
Moving labor is a helpful service you can book if you're planning on DIYing most of your move. Rather than a full-service moving team, moving labor can show up, help with packing, and help with the heavy lifting. Everything else will be up to you, unless you book a moving labor team to meet you at your destination, too.
We recommend tipping between 15% and 20% of the total cost of the move, to be divided up between your entire moving team. Don't forget the driver, either! In the moving industry, tipping is usually accepted and expected. While there are some rare companies that don't accept a gratuity, it's a good idea to have your wallet at the ready just in case.
All movers are legally required to offer a minimum level of insurance coverage. Unfortunately, this amounts to about $0.60 per pound of items lost, damaged, or destroyed. Did your 4 pound Macbook get broken in transit? You're only gonna get $2.40. Fortunately, iMoving can connect you with movers who offer full value protection. This means if something gets damaged or broken, you'll be reimbursed the actual price.
