Original move confirmed and scheduled for 2/1, however movers never arrived nor contacted me directly. I had to reach out and it took several hours to find our the situation. Bottom line, movers didn't arrive and rescheduled for 2/3 at which time movers arrived at 1pm vs 9am confirmed time. Then on delivery day, had to reschedule 2nd part of move due to lateness of delivery, movers didnt havethe right address and showed up at my address at which time I had to provide them with the right delivery address. Bottom line, a disaster. Only salvation was that my movers did a great job; however the movers to the 2nd dropoff didn't know how to put the bed together and left it connected incorrectly.

I have moved 3 times in the last 5 yrs. This move was hands down the best! Movers arrived on time, they were very pleasant to work with. All of my glass top furniture as well as my two glass hutches were carefully prepared for the move. All of my furniture and household items arrived in excellent condition. Before departing the movers asked if I was happy with the furniture placement. If I wanted to change anything they would be happy to move anything. I would highly recommend IMoving for your next move!

Orange City Moving Services Are a Click Away
Every move is different. Whether it’s a home, office, or just a few items of heavy furniture, iMoving provides a whole menu of must-have services for moving in and out of Orange City:
Long Distance Moving
We've been in the moving game for decades. That's enough time to learn what a scam looks like, and that's enough time to build a network of all the best long distance moving companies in Orange City.
When you use iMoving to book long distance movers, you're getting more than just a marketplace full of great quotes. You're also getting the added security of knowing we weeded out all the sketchy Orange City movers so you're only dealing with the best of the best.
Local Moving
Local moving companies in Orange City can be hard to come by. Sure, there's a few major players in town, but do you want to spend all that time and energy comparing quotes and services, only to find they're booked solid?
At iMoving, we make sure you're getting the best local movers in Orange City, and we make sure they can play nice with your schedule. We also make sure they play nice with all your stuff. We'll carefully vet and verify the local movers in our network, just like how we vet and verify the long distance players.
Packing Services
Professional movers provide basic insurance coverage for free, but it's only good for like $0.60 per pound of damaged or missing items. If you want to be reimbursed the actual amount of your goods, you'll have to pay extra for full value insurance. And movers don't offer full value insurance unless you pay for their professional packing, either.
iMoving makes it easy to shop for movers that offer professional packing in Orange City. They'll show up with all the boxes, padding, and packing supplies they need to keep your stuff safe - and you can opt in for full value insurance coverage to sweeten the deal.
Storage Services
Storage in Orange City can be hard to find. At least, storage that doesn't involve driving to the seedy side of town and dealing with loading and hauling all by yourself. Good thing you can use iMoving to book storage companies who'll deliver straight to your door.
We hold our storage providers to the same strict standards we maintain for our local and long distance movers. And heck, some of our storage providers are the same companies, just to keep things simple and efficient. We make sure your items are safe, and they'll make sure you get your items when you need them.
Commercial Moving
We care about your business just as much as you do - and we'll make sure to send a team you can trust for the big day.
Booking a commercial moving company through iMoving is just as simple as booking our residential movers: Just tell us what you need, and we'll give you a whole list of vetted corporate movers, complete with prices and availability. We make sure they're up to the same strict standards we hold for our other movers, so you know you've got the best Orange City commercial movers for the job.

FAQ
We recommend tipping between 15% and 20% of the total cost of the move, to be divided up between your entire moving team. Don't forget the driver, either! In the moving industry, tipping is usually accepted and expected. While there are some rare companies that don't accept a gratuity, it's a good idea to have your wallet at the ready just in case.
When you move to a more built-up or urban area, chances are they won't let you park an entire semi truck in front of your apartment. Your movers will have to park the main truck at a staging area, and use a smaller box truck or van to transport your stuff to (and from) the trailer. This is called a moving shuttle, and the inconvenience comes at a price. Blame your city council.
If a moving company is expecting you to pay for your entire move up front, run. This is a common tactic for sketchy movers, and if you pay up front, there's no guarantee they'll even deliver your stuff. On the other hand, paying a down payment before the big day is relatively common. Expect to pay a few hundred bucks, or 5-10% of the price of your move. Also, use iMoving to make sure you aren't dealing with scammers.
Moving labor is a helpful service you can book if you're planning on DIYing most of your move. Rather than a full-service moving team, moving labor can show up, help with packing, and help with the heavy lifting. Everything else will be up to you, unless you book a moving labor team to meet you at your destination, too.
To prepare for a move in Orange City, we recommend taking a few important steps. First, make sure you've got a job lined up at your destination. Secondly, downsize as much as possible before shopping for movers. If you're doing your own packing, box up your stuff starting with the least-used items, and always pack an essentials bag so you aren't stuck rooting through boxes for your toothbrush or clean underwear.
