When my original mover had to cancel iMoving set me up with John at Simba Movers. John was able to still meet my original pick up date and his guys did an amazing job getting my stuff moved to my new place. Highly recommended.

Horrible! They stood me up 4 times when picking up my things and today they delivered my things missing one large luggage!

Both men were very pleasant and helpful. They were careful with my belongings, some of which were old and fragile. I would definitely use them again.

I understand the logistics of a cross country move - they can be difficult and time sensitive. My only critique is the inability to have flexibility within a delivery window when originally given a 21 day timeframe, but only 24 hours notice of delivery, necessitating a need to change work schedules to accommodate the movers.

Reviewing: Safe to go Movers
The team on the phone were great and easy to communicate with. one thing i would have appreciated is to discuss the cancellation policy BEFORE charging us. The team picking up were 2.5 hours late to get there (said they'd be there at 10am and didn't arrive until 1230pm and I called them, they were not communicating with me). BUT once they got to the house they were definitely awesome. hard working, focused, asked questions, packed everything VERY WELL. The unload was much better, they communicated when they'd arrive and arrived before they said they would, and they were very patient with working with me and my adjustments on where items needed to go.

FAQ
A Ferndale move can cost you anywhere from $178 to $8100 and beyond. It all comes down to how much you’re moving, and how far you’re traveling. Keep in mind, local movers charge per mover, per hour (with about 2 movers per room), and long distance movers charge by weight (or volume) and miles.
Every move is different, and if your move involves several flights of stairs, elevators, or extra long hallways or driveways, expect to pay a little extra for the obstacle course. When you're entering your moving information, make sure you provide accurate details about the layout of your origin and destination. Otherwise, you may end up with some surprise fees.
We recommend tipping between 15% and 20% of the total cost of the move, to be divided up between your entire moving team. Don't forget the driver, either! In the moving industry, tipping is usually accepted and expected. While there are some rare companies that don't accept a gratuity, it's a good idea to have your wallet at the ready just in case.
Some movers provide storage units, but not all of them. It’s always a good idea to shop around for a moving company that can provide all the services you’ll need. Fortunately, iMoving’s marketplace lets you see what’s on the menu with each mover, including secure storage options.
iMoving offers a wide range of auto transporters to get your dream garage from point A to point B. You can only drive one car at a time, and you probably don't want to shove a bunch of moving boxes into your Lambo, anyways. Fortunately, our auto transporters have you covered - and if you book a covered trailer, they'll have your car covered too.
